Meet the Team!

Our Story

Our love for designing events started back . We fell in love with movies like “The Wedding Planner”, “Father of the Bride”, “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”, the wedding scene in “Madea’s Family Reunion” and the list goes on. The parts of the movie that focused on the planning of the major event would be our favorites and little did we know that we would be doing just that.

We both graduated from Penn State University with Public Relations/Advertising degrees. We both interned for different Public Relations companies and worked different jobs after interning. Over the years, we found ourselves planning and coordinating events for each other and for those around us. One specific internship at a fashion house in New York had us working from 8 am until 2 am during fashion week (on the production side) and although it was hard, it didn't feel like work. Every fashion show was a production. Every show had an event attached to it and we were working on all of the shows for weeks and a lot went into them, all for one moment. We weren't treated the best but we learned so much.

After working for various companies in ranging industries, we eventually developed a passion to create our own Event Production company. Shortly after turning our concept of running our own business into reality, we began to exercise our expertise in planning events for friends, family and other clientele attained through word-of-mouth. We used our past work experience to give us leverage. We learned a lot along the way by putting ourselves out there, finding mentors in our industry and remaining a student through everything.

Meet Shekira Piard

Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer

Hi there! Please feel free to call me Shekey. The first memory I have of planning an event was for my 11th birthday. I had a party at a local skating rink and my mentor at the time helped with the invitations and created shirts for all of my friends to wear. I always wanted to do something fun and different when it came to my birthday because I wanted to create an experience for those that attended.

Through high school and college, I found myself on various planning committees for different events and shows and I always wanted to be the boss. If I couldn’t be the person in charge, I figured out a way to be close to the person in charge to help them any way that I could.

Planning, coordinating and scheduling is my passion and I can’t wait to turn your visions into a reality.

Meet Laica Clerge

Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer

My passion for event planning started in middle school. I knew from a very young age that this was one of the career paths I wanted to take. But it wasn't until I started curating an event for clients that I realized my true love lies in the design process. I love working with balloons and florals. I also love playing with color palettes and themes.

There is art in creating visions for a client and turning them into reality. Seeing not just my clients but their guest reactions to our designs and the joy it brings to them will always be a high point for me. Celebrations do not have to be over the top to create a memory that lasts forever. The memories I get to watch people make will always be a reward for me.

As a person who has a tendency to want to be in control, they were able to take charge without leaving me feeling like I had none. They kept me in the loop of all ideas and decisions from the beginning to the end!
